Oh, the joys of AP tests.

I'm really sorry that I haven't posted all week...or much of last. I've been busy studying for the AP test on May 5. Not too much knitting progress, partially because I missed a yarn-over two and a half rows back and I haven't had the motivation to fix it yet.

I'd love to show you a picture of my new socks in-progress, which are a fiddled-with version of Broadripple from Knitty with my Lorna's Laces, buuuuttt....My sister broke our wonderful, awesome camera. She dropped it while it was on and the zoom lens got...crooked...Or so she says. Never can tell with that girl. And the best part! Amanda was home for two days before mom found out that the camera was broken. While we were at school! Apparently Amanda had something to hid. Silly kid. Tsk.

Weelll. I should finish my assigned reading for tonight. A.k.a : Read blogs. Wish me luck on finishing my reading, haha.

Spring has Sprug ( Like some curly knitting)

Ooh! I'm really likin' this Reid pattern. Man, is it purdy. (It's pretty hard to photograph a piece of knitting that rolls with one hand on the camera and one on the knitting.)


And it's greening up! Woo! It's been a perfect temperature of about...70..ish. Not sure, but it's nice. (Isn't Fletchie beautiful?...He needs to be fluffed (a.k.a. brushed).

Here's some knit books. I have (had) all three KnitLits, and I also have The Secret Life of a Knitter. Sad to say, but I lost my KnitLit(too) on the plane to Florida. I only had half of it read too...Darn.

Boy, I love me my books.

Flash Your Stash : Belated

This is my sock yarn. Knitpicks' Flower Power, varigated. Blue-blood red Wildfoote. Some black that I'm not sure of the name and some Lorna's Laces in #76, Aslan.













This is my wool. I've got some color your own, which should be really fun. I've got some left over Lamb's Pride worsted. I've also got some lace yarn which I'm hoping to make a shawl or shrug for my mom for Mother's Day.
This is some CottonTots. I really like it. I'm going to attempt to make Reid from the new spring Knitty. I'll post that link soon. I'll bet the guage will be off, but I'm making the smallest size (that's the beginning on the needles) and hoping that it will fit my three year old neighbor, and if not, I'll make her another one (if this goes well, haha) and give this to some other baby/kid that my mom probably knows.


Anyway, sorry that this is ten days late. I really am trying to post as often as I have something to post about.

Vacation : Pre-Break
