Alright, I'm going to knit a bag/purse, whatever, for my French teacher. She's crazy and so much fun. I want to do intarsia. I going to put an Eiffel Tower in the lower right corner and the Arc de Triumph on the other side. I have no idea how I want the colors to be. White on black, black on white (issue of how fast it gets dirty), I have no idea. Any suggestions? I want it to be very French.
I'm going to line the bag and the strap so it doesn't get stretched out. I really want to do this in a smaller guage. Probably about 6-8 stitches to the inch.
If anyone has any more ideas, I'd love to hear them.
I am so excited.
