Sweater weather, for sure

Today is absolutely freezing outside. Nearly every county north and west of us got a snow day. But today...Today, I am knitting a sweater to counteract the freezing.

I started this this morning in my first hour class. I'm hoping on finishing it tonight so I can give it to my best friend who is going up the the UP to visit Michigan Tech. I hope she likes it. The neck warmer and the school.

Just thought you should know

All the knitting is finished on my Tangled Yoke. I'm going to bed now. I have school in the morning.

A couple months ago, my sweater progress stalled, but now that knitting for the craft show and holiday knitting is over with, I've been able to get back to knitting for me.
The cable chart rows go on for forever. Hundreds of stitiches. But now I'm back down to 165 and almost ready to do the shortrow shaping. I can't wait to finish this and get some use out of it this winter.
