There has been a bit of knitting going on, but for now, academia has the upper hand.

Yum, yum, yum
1x1 rib (I think besides garter stitch, this might be my favorite scarf pattern.) Lies flat, looks like stockinette, and it shows off the colors nicely. Even though I'm alternating balls every two rows, it still seems to be pooling in a yellow and blue criss-cross...It's mostly subtle, I hope.
And omg, this is the best EVER yarn. It's soft and shiny, without being too shiny and it's a nice and even single. LOVE(1) mos. def.

A finished object!
Except for this.
How did I let this happen? I think I was trying to force gauge on the rusty yarn. (It's way more brown in actuality.) I don't know what to do. Should I leave it, or rip it out and work the orange on a smaller needle? The last end is not woven in, so it wouldn't be that big of a deal, except that it took me several hours of watching a friend play Grand Theft Auto 4 to knit the last 30 rows...
So, I leave you with another picture and the info.
Raveled.
Pattern inspired from ThroughTheLoops's Bi-Color Scarf.
Lou.
You will be missed Fluffy Bun. I hope you're romping around in a field of yummy grasses. I'm glad you were with really good people for the last couple weeks.

She's right at home.
I'm working on the second bobbin of three. It kind of sucks that I want to do a traditional 3 ply because I only have three bobbins. I need a fourth and a better lazy kate. Which is why I want a Schact Matchless. Double treadle. From The Spinning Loft. Oh, geeze, let a girl dream.
